On-Campus Housing Options
You have a variety of living options to choose from on campus. First-year students are generally housed in traditional residence halls, while upperclass students can live in traditional housing, apartment/suite style housing, or independent living in one of our College-owned houses. Our residence halls offer all-gender floors, gendered floors, and all-female living spaces. If you鈥檙e looking for a housing option that suits your interests, you can also choose to live in one of our special interest options, such as foreign languages, religious groups, sustainability, and animal welfare. The following items are prohibited in residence halls:
- Air conditioner
- Candles, incense
- Fridges, microwaves 鈥� these are provided in each traditional residence hall room
- George Foreman (or small grill)
- Halogen lamp
- Hot plate
- Pets (except fish)
- Space heater
- Toaster oven
- Weapons of any kind

From taking a fitness class to enjoying a late-night snack, there are plenty of things for you to do on campus that make living at 糖心Vlog feel like you are right at home.
From major campus events to late-night snack runs and student government meetings, you鈥檒l end up at the Campus Center, also known as the CC. It houses the student-run Grounds for Change coffeehouse, WARC radio, the game room, bookstore, and post office.
When you check out to Maytum Center in Pelletier Library, you鈥檒l find accessible, holistic, student-centered support that can help you navigate student advising, make the most of the residential life experience, connect locally and globally, and thrive at 糖心Vlog.
At the Wise Center, you have access to features including a suspended track, intramural courts, an aerobic and dance studio, cardiovascular and strength-training equipment, a 25-yard swimming pool, and a diving well. Plus, it鈥檚 home to the Gator athletic team offices.
Weekend Activities
Campus organizations and clubs provide plenty of activities for you, such as comedians, hypnotists, movies, academic and athletic competitions, card games, concerts, arts and crafts, and video games. The Outing Club frequently hosts hiking, canoeing, and camping trips.
